In September Aviva Street Sports kicked off its second year with over 100 Children attending weekly football and multi-sports sessions throughout our 6 venues at Fiddlewood, Jubilee Park, Powerleague 5 a side centre, Lionwood Infants School, Jenny Lind and Heartseases Towers.

07/11/08 'Kick it Out League' comes to a conclusion
The 2008 Social Inclusion ‘'Kick It Out League'' came to an interesting end last week with the top two playing each other for the league title. Team Fuzz lined up against a very enthusiastic team from the YMCA in Norwich. The YMCA eventually ran out 7 - 3 winners to claim this years ‘'Kick It Out League'' league trophy.

01/09/08 FITC Summer finishes in 'Safe Hands'
During the final week of the summer holidays over 80 children attended FITCs summer goalkeeping camps held at Carrow Park. Tuesday and Wednesday saw the 5-10 age groups kick off the week with a series of technical sessions developing their handling and diving skills under the watchful eyes of the FITC goalkeeping staff.

30/08/08 FITC Launch NEW Kickz Football Project
Football in the Community's staff welcomed Jim Smurden - Superintendent for Great Yarmouth Police, Martyn Hooton - Police Inspector for Gorleston Police and Kevin Wilkins - Assistant Chief Constable for Norfolk Police together with the Football Foundation's Senior Project Manager - Andy Parrott from the National Kickz initiative for a presentation on the pitch at half time against our recent home game against Birmingham FC, to celebrate FITC receiving funding of £100,000 for a new Social Inclusion Program - Kickz.
