AVIVA Ability Counts

FITC provides five AVIVA Ability Counts centres in Norwich and Dereham for adults and children who have physical and learning disabilities.

The sessions delivered not only give the players the opportunity to take part and improve their football skills, but also help improve their social skills, self-confidence, self-esteem and mobility.

Each session is delivered by fully qualified staff who have experience of working with various types of disability and adapt the sessions to the individual needs of each person, ensuring that every goal is achievable and the players always leave the venue a happier and more confident player.

The courses run over an eight, ten or twelve week block for one hour a week, and are designed with the aim of the adults and children having fun and learning new techniques each week.

The next AVIVA Ability Counts block of 2009 is a ten-week course, which starts the week commencing 12th January 2009 and will finish on week commencing the 23rd March 2009 (not including February half term) see courses below:

11.00am - 12.00pm (Childrens' Blind VI-only 8 - 16yrs)

Please note there are no Ability Counts sessions held during February Half Term.

The above courses run for 10 weeks, AC1/AC2/AC3 costs £20.00 and AC4/AC5 cost £16.00.
