GK Soccer Centres

Fully qualified goalkeeping coaches deliver the GK course.  The sessions are designed to improve and develop young goalkeepers of all standards and abilities in a fun, safe and challenging environment.

Topics such as handling, footwork, shot stopping, crosses; diving and 1 v 1's will be covered, amongst others.  The key basic techniques and principles will be broken down and delivered so that the goalkeepers fully understand how to perform each facet of this specific and individual position.

Goalkeepers who perform well over a period of time may follow in the footsteps of others who have progressed into the Goalkeeping Player Development Centre of the NCFC Academy.

The courses run over an eight, ten or twelve week block for one hour a week, and are designed with the aim of the children having fun and learning new techniques each week.

The next GK Soccer Centre block of 2009 is a ten-week course. The courses will start the week commencing 12th January 2009 and will finish the week commencing 23rd March 2009 (not including February Half Term).
