FREE Taster Session for Deaf or Visually Impaired People
‘As part of this years NCFC Ability Counts Awareness Week, Football in the Community will be running a 1 hour taster session for players aged 6-15 who are either Deaf or Visually Impaired.
The session, taking place at Carrow Park on Saturday 1st March, will consist of coaching, fun games and matches followed by the opportunity of watching Norwich City v Blackpool FC at Carrow Rd. All of this is free of charge.
The day itself will be the climax of the Ability Counts Awareness Week where it will follow a specific Disabled Supporters forum on Tuesday 26th February and the FITC Adult Grand Prix League on Wednesday 27th February, these events are at Carrow Rd and Carrow Park respectively.
This is the 3rd year that the football club have hosted such an event where raising awareness for both adults and children who have disabilities, who either want to access the ground to watch the games or actually take part in coaching sessions themselves, is the key objective.
