Book Now - Ability Counts Specialist/ Half Term Courses
Only £5.00 per child
Working in conjunction with the Short Breaks Pathfinder organisation Football in the Community is proud to announce a series of two-day multi-sport respite courses. The respite courses will be held at five locations across Norfolk during the February half term. The courses have been tailored for children with physical or learning disabilities.
Over the period of the two-day course the children will enjoy sporting activities consisting of football, basketball, tennis, tri-golf and hockey. By taking part in these activities it is hoped the children's confidence, fitness and mobility are improved.
The courses are delivered by fully qualified Football in the Community coaches, who have in-depth knowledge and experience of working with children with disabilities. If requested one to one individual care will be provided by Cross Roads Care an organisation who specialise in support for children with disabilities.
Darran Lovell Football in the Community Ability Counts Officer said: "We feel that this is a great opportunity for disabled children to access sporting activity in a safe and fun environment. Being able to mix with other children with similar disabilities whilst participating in sport will see them benefit in many different ways".
