Easter Soccer Schools Launched

Football excitement will kick into action later next month, as Norwich City's Football in the Community Easter Soccer Schools will be in action across the County. Mattressman.co.uk are the sponsors of FITC Soccer Schools for 2008.

During the course children will participate in a new coaching programme, which will cover passing, dribbling, heading, shooting and matches. The course will allow participants to learn new skills, have fun, increase self-esteem, make new friends or meet with old friends. All Soccer Schools will start at 10.00am and finish at 3.00pm with a presentation on the final day. Everyone who attends will receive a course certificate, an exclusive free course gift and the chance to be selected for one of our Player Development Centres.

Children will have the opportunity to participate in the Mattressman Keepy Up Challenge to have the chance to win tickets to watch a Norwich City First Team match at Carrow Road. The winner will be involved in a half time presentation on the pitch with their trophy.

Easter Soccer School Venues: -

Tuesday 25^th and Wednesday 26^th March (2 Day Courses)

Fakenham High School, Beccles Sport Ground, Hethersett High School and a Goalkeeping Course at Pinebanks Sports Club, Norwich.

Thursday 27^th and Friday 28^th March (2 Day Courses)

North Walsham FC (Greens Road), Watton Leisure Centre (Astro Turf), Taverham Junior School, Long Stratton Leisure Centre and a Girls Only Course at Carrow Park, NCFC.

Tuesday 25^th to Friday 28 March (4 Day Course)

Pinebanks Sports Club, Norwich

Monday 31^st March to Friday 4^th April (5 Day Courses)

Pinebanks Sports Club, Norwich, Cliff Park Middle School, Cromer High School (Astro Turf), Northgate High School Dereham and Attleborough Junior School.

Each two-day course will cost £27 for Non Members and £25 for Members.

A four-day course will cost £47 for Non Members and £43 for Members; The Five day courses will cost £57 for Non Members and £52 for Members.

Mini Kicker mornings are aimed at children between 4 and 5 years old. The course will be at Carrow Park from Monday 31^st March - Wednesday 2^nd April. The course will run from 10am - 12pm and is ideal for children who love playing football, but cannot manage a full day of FITC fun. Mini Kicker mornings with cost £22 for Non Members and £20 for Members

Soccer Tots are not left out either over Easter, FITC are holding afternoon sessions at Carrow Park for three afternoons over the holiday period from Monday 31^st March - Wednesday 2^nd April. The course runs from 1pm to 3pm and is aimed at children aged 3 and 4 years old. Soccer Tots afternoons will cost Non Members £18 and Members £16.
