Fun Fun Fun in the Sun....

It was fun, fun, fun in the sun last week.........

Last week saw over 200 children, boys and girls take part in one of the many FITC Summer Courses that took place over the county.

A staggering 69 children attended the Cromer 5-day Soccer School held at Cromer High School, Head Coach at the venue Ali Colman said "Cromer courses are becoming one of the highest attended courses during the school holidays. This week our coaches have witnessed not only fantastic weather but some fantastic football from the boys and girls that attended".

Other venues that FITC visited were Long Stratton Leisure Centre and Watton Sports Centre, attendance at both of these venues was also very good.

Not to be outshone our Mini Footballers were also out in force at the specially designed and very popular Soccer Tots and Mini Kicker courses. Boys and Girls aged between 3 and 6 were treated to a week of morning (Soccer Tots) and afternoon (Mini Kickers). 60 children attended the week where they learnt how to improve fundamental movements, listening, balance, co-ordination and basic football skills.

FITC also held their first Multi-Sport Camp of the summer at Pinebanks, Norwich. Boys and Girls were treated to a variety of sports, which included Rounders, Cricket, Handball, Football, ScatterBall and many more....

Scott Emmerson, FITC Kids Courses Development Officer said " With the fantastic weather we experienced last week, we have had a cracking start to the summer! Each course that we run is very much personalised by our Head Coaches at that Venue to ensure that the children who attend have a great time".

This week FITC will be visiting venues in Norwich, Dereham, Beccles and Hethersett as well as holding a special Junior Coaches Camp for all budding coaches.
