Trowse Sporty Tots welcome Santa

Trowse Sporty Tots and their FITC Coaches

During their last Christmas themed ‘Sporty Tots' session of the year over 20 children aged two - four received a surprise visit from Santa Claus at the YMCA, Trowse.

There were gasps of excitement and astonishment as Santa popped in and talked to the children about their Christmas costumes, football skills and what toys they would like for Christmas.  Santa finished his visit by handing a course certificate to every single child and wishing them a very happy Christmas.

Mark Vaudin FITC Coach said: "I am delighted Santa could join us today and meet all the brilliant children on the Sporty Tots course.  I hope all the children have enjoyed the course and learnt new skills from all the coaches.  We hope to see all the children back in the New Year".

Sporty Tots is initiative designed to encourage two - four year olds to enjoy being active and develop their fundamental movement skills through specifically designed activities ranging from football bowling to crab football.  These activities will improve the child's speed, agility and coordination.  The New Year course starts on Monday, January 11th 2010.
