AVIVA Ability Counts
Football in the Community's Disability Programme continues to grow and effect thousands of people with various disabilities throughout the County of Norfolk and North Suffolk.
FITC have had over 2500 children and adults take part in their coaching initiatives in the past 12 months alone through our Ability Counts Programme. Activities such as coaching sessions, taster days, festivals, tournaments and awareness days are just some of the events that F.I.T.C run which has seen 13 Special Needs Schools and 12 Adult organisations take part in.
Activities provided include:
- Soccer Centres
- Tournaments & Festivals
- Leagues
- Centre of Excellence
- MLD Team

All the above has been made possible through Funding received from:
- Football Foundation
- Football Association
- Norfolk County FA
- Norwich City Football Club
- Football Aid
The funding has also supported many teachers, carers and volunteers to gain their Level 1 Coaching Award and attend a Disability Footballers Workshop to enhance their coaching of disabled footballers.
