Code of Conduct

Football in the Community hopes that your child enjoys our coaching courses. However there are a few points that we would like to bring to your attention to ensure everyone gains the most from the course in a safe environment.

Please make sure that your child is aware of the following:

  • Fighting, bullying and swearing are not acceptable.
  • Children must show respect towards coaches and other children on the course.
  • Children must not leave the session at any time without permission from their coach.
  • Children must listen to the coaches and carry out their instructions.
  • FITC reserves the rights to exclude any child during the course if, in our opinion, the child is not compatible with the general enjoyment of the other course applicants.

The following guidelines are set out by Football in the Community for the Health, Safety and Welfare of those on the course:

  • FITC does not accept any liability for the loss or damage to any property belonging to or travelling with any person attending the course.
  • Lost property not collected from the FITC office within three weeks will be donated to charity.
  • Parents/Guardians consent has been given allowing FITC to take and use photographs of your child and use them for future publications and publicity, administer first aid and transfer your child to hospital if necessary. If you have any objections regarding this matter then please contact FITC in writing before the course starts.

It is the Parent's/Guardian's responsibility to:

  • Check with head coach whether, in the case of bad weather, the course is going ahead or finishing early.
  • Ensure your child arrives on time to start the course (it is unfairto keep others waiting) and is collected on time when the course finishes. The coaches have other venues to attend , and are not able to wait with children who have not been collected by late parents.
  • Ensure that children know that they must wait with their coach to meet you and no arrangements have been made to meet in the car parks (Please advise the head coach of your arrangements if you are not collecting your child)
  • Notify your childs coach on the same day of the course if your child sustains any injury during the course. If your child has sustained a recent injury or illness that might interfere with his/her participation, please inform FITC in writing before the course starts.

Refunds and Credit Notes

Football in the Community regrets that we are unable to give refunds for missed courses, however a credit note may be issued upon receipt of a written request.

If the circumstance arises where a course is cancelled by FITC then a full refund will be returned.
