Norfolk Coaches Association

Developing Coaching Knowledge For All Levels

The NFCA has been in existence for a number of years but in 2001 it was decided that an revamp was needed in order to bring us in line with the requirements of a 21st century coach. The NFCA allows coaches the opportunity to identify what they would like the association to provide for both their learning and enjoyment.

  • Child Protection
  • Progression for Coaches
  • Disability Opportunities

  • First Aid
  • Availability of Facilities
  • Coaches Website

It was decided that the best way to provide this was through:

  • Quality Practical Sessions (drills, techniques, fun games)
  • Support Days (FA Level 1/2)
  • Coach Mentorin
  • Talent Identification Seminar
  • Coaching Techniques (Coerver, Futsal, Brazilian Football)

  • Warm Up/Cool Down Ideas
  • Coaching Roadshows
  • Football Injuries Seminar
  • Newsletter Information
  • Social Get together

Accordingly the NFCA set about arranging seminars and workshops to meet these requirements and put the following programme together:

2001
