FITC can help with your schools PPA needs

With the introduction of PPA (Planning Preparation and Assessments) in schools FITC have provided a new Schools Sports Programme to cover teachers 10% PPA non-contact time.

FITC have compiled a comprehensive programme that provides qualified coaches to schools to deliver games lessons at Key Stage 1 & 2. All lessons are based on the National Curriculum and the Val Sabin resources material. Assessments are also prepared by the coaches in conjunction with the school to measure the children attainment levels.

FITC provides:

  • A range of Games including Hockey, Netball, Rugby, Football, Tennis, Cricket, Rounders and Athletics
  • Schemes of work and lesson plans based on the National Curriculum and Val Sabin resources.

"Norwich City Football in the Community are a professional outfit that have assisted Norfolk schools deliver high quality physical education and after-school clubs across a wide range of activities.  They have been instrumental in helping to set up multi-skill clubs and academies, under Norfolk County Council's Competitive Edge scheme, catering for the most able students in PE.  Over 1000 Gifted and Talented young people in years 5 and 6 now receive high quality coaching across a range of abilities relating to PE and school sport.  Norwich City Football in the Community have helped up-skill teaching staff through schools utilising their staff to help coach young people and educate teachers, over 91% of Norfolk's young people now access a minimum of two hours high quality physical education and school sport.
