FITC are currently delivering a new project, the project gives 16 Congolese refugee children the opportunity to participate in 1 hour of teaching at the Study Centre at NCFC and 1 hour of sports coaching at Carrow Park.

The project has been kindly funded by the Geoffrey Watling Charity and will run for 2 blocks of 10 weeks, allowing 2 different groups of children to take part the project.

The first group will finish of their project by watching the Norwich City FC vs. Colchester United fixture then after the match they will head over to Carrow Park for two hours of fun coaching to complete their Match Day experience.

Jamie Nielsen, FITC Coach said: ‘the main aim of the project is to integrate the children into the local community through structured and informal activities. The children are so appreciative of this opportunity which consequently makes them a pleasure to teach'
