Ability Counts
Schools Disabilities
FITC have recently received funding from the Local Network Fund, gained Sponsorship from Marsh and have allocated funds from our FITC Cash 4 Kids Football Appeal to the project.
Through this fantastic support our qualified and experience staff will provide a wide range of activities for children at Special Schools around Norfolk and North Suffolk.
The activities include visits to local Special Schools providing coaching and fun games to all pupils in the school, a Grand Prix League (a 3 fixture tournament), a 1 Day Festival, After School Coaching Sessions and Training for teachers in order to help them increase opportunities within their school.
If your school would like to get involved in any of these great opportunities please contact FITC for more details.
Disability Soccer Centres
Disability Soccer Centres are structured coaching sessions run by our qualified coaching team, teaching new skills and techniques in shooting, passing and dribbling. Add to that all your favourite FITC games, and every session finishes with a match.. There will be two Soccer Centres running, one being for those with Learning disabilities and the other for those with Pan Disabilities. The course is run on a Wednesday night between 5:30-6:30 at Powerleague, Bowthorpe, Norwich. All children will receive a FITC course certificate for completing the 12 week course. For further information please call our disabilities co-ordinator, Darran Lovell on 01603 761122.
