Girls Centre of Excellence & PDC Trials Announced
Football in the Community are pleased to announce the Norwich City Girls Centre of Excellence and Player Development Trials will be held over the weekend of the 7th and 8th July, at Easton College, Norwich.
Girls from the age of 6 to 15 are invited to trial for the following squads:
Sat 7th July U8's, U10's & U12's 10.00am - 12.30pm
Sun 8th July U14's 10.00am - 12.30pm
Sun 8th July U16's 1.30pm - 3.45pm
(GK's will trial with their respective age groups)
All trials will be held at Easton College (near Norfolk Showground, Norwich) all trials will be on a grass pitch. Players must bring boots, trainers, shin pads and a drink. There will also be a short introduction to players and parents to outline the structure and aim of the FITC Girls Advanced Programmes.
The girls will receive coaching during the trial and will play matches (U8's, U10's/U12 - small sided and U14/16 - 11 a'side) during selection. We will be looking to select for the following:
Under 10 Centre of Excellence Squad
Under 12 Centre of Excellence Squad
Under 14 Centre of Excellence Squad
Under 16 Centre of Excellence Squad
GK Centre of Excellence Squad
GK Player Development Squad
Under 8 Player Development Squad
Under 10 Player Development Squad
Under 12 Player Development Squad
Under 14 Player Development Squad
Clubs and Schools have been invited to nominate players for the trials but if you would like to take part then please click on the following link to download an application form:
If you have an interest in playing in goal and would like to trial as a goalkeeper then trials will also be held over the weekend and will be within their respective age groups. You will receive specific goal keeping coaching and play matches.
