Fantastic Climax to FITC Ability Counts Adult Grand Prix

There was a fantastic climax to the ‘Ability Counts' Adult Grand Prix where both leagues went to the final game to decide who would end up victorious and walk away with the trophy.

In the ‘A' section despite winning all their matches on the final date it wasn't enough for South Town Utd (Gt Yarmouth College) to overtake The Assist Trust who took the title on goal difference.

Playing more then their part was Plaxtole House ‘A' (College of West Anglia - Kings Lynn), College of West Anglia - Norwich and Willowbank.

In the ‘B' section Norwich Day Services, Dereham Day Services and Real Nelson (Gt Yarmouth College) all had a chance of winning going in to the final fixture, but it was Dereham who held their nerve to take the title.

In a thoroughly competitive division all three teams as well as Lazar House, Plaxtole ‘B' Sprowston Day Services and Forward & Futures played their part over 3 compelling dates.

‘Ability Counts' Officer Darran Lovell said ‘ In terms of results this is probably the closet tournament we have had over the past 4 years. Although it's nice to win, just seeing everybody involved, enjoying football and mixing with people from other areas is fantastic from our point of view'

Despite the poor weather on the final day, everybody still managed to fulfil their fixtures and all received their well deserved medals and trophies from Jeremy Goss, NCFC Community Ambassador, during the presentation.
